Free Thursday evening live music series continues, featuring five diverse Bay Area bands
Oakland, CA August 23, 2012 – Warm autumn nights just got a whole lot better with the Fall lineup of artists at SoundWaves at Jack London Square. This popular outdoor series, in its second year, offers free live music by some of the Bay Area’s top performers on five consecutive Thursdays in September and October.
The SoundWaves Fall lineup includes a range of local talent and diverse music styles, including the Stone Foxes Rock Young Digerati Synth/Pop Joe Bagale R&B/Soul African Showboyz West African Percussion Ensemble and Gaucho Gypsy Jazz. The Fall series begins Thursday, September 13 and runs through October 11, 5:30pm -7:30pm each night. SoundWaves also features musical artists on the waterfront each Spring.

September 13 – Stone Foxes Rock
September 20 – Young Digerati Synth/Pop
September 27 – Joe Bagale R&B/Soul
October 4 – African Soundboyz West African Percussion Ensemble
October 11 – Gaucho Gypsy Jazz
TIME: 5:30– 7:30 PM at the intersection of Broadway and Embarcadero, Jack London Square
Featured event partners: Jack London Square and Yonas Media. Visitors are encouraged to stay after the show to enjoy one of Jack London Square’s many great restaurants, including Haven, Bocanova, Miss Pearl’s Restaurant & Lounge, Scott’s Seafood, Il Pescatore, Kincaids, Yoshi’s, and Hahn’s Hibachi.
