Bocanova Announces Details for "Rick's Supper Club" on June 7, 2012


Celebrate the First Thursday of Every Month with Local Purveyors and Winemakers

WHAT:

On Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., Owner/Chef Rick Hackett and Bocanova kick off the summer season with the popular dinner series “Rick’s Supper Club,” in partnership with local purveyors and East Bay winemakers. The one-of-a-kind food and wine event offers a five-course family-style menu, priced at $68.00, inclusive of wine pairings and a signature cocktail created by Bar Manager Stella Davies.

For the June Supper Club, Rick welcomes Owner Paul Johnson of Monterey Fish Market and Winemakers Uffe Roland and Martha Rosario of Roland Rosario Cellars. Wine from Roland Rosario Cellars will also be available for retail purchase. Rick’s June menu will feature the following dishes:

RECEPTION
Popcorn Scallops
Pisco Punch

PRIMER PLATO
Mackerel Ceviche—tequila, chiles, cilantro
Monterey Calamari Ceviche—mango
Local Halibut Crudo—spiced pumpkin seeds

SEGUNDO PLATO
Dungeness Crab Salad—avocado, beets

PLATO PRINCIPAL
Slow Cooked Chile Marinated Wild King Salmon- toasted garlic, guajillo chiles, lime juice

PARA ACOMPAÑAR
Smashed Fava Beans—black mint
Caramelized Carrots—nettles

POSTRE
Pumpkin Seed Donuts—orange glaze
Salted Caramel
