Description: Stretching from Redwood Park to the town of Castro Valley, this 4,943-acre park offers biking, hiking, riding trails, an equestrian center, and a lake. Trails range from less than five to more than 30 miles long, with moderate and steep grades. There’s great picnicking, fishing, and boat rentals on the 315-acre lake. Daily, dawn to dusk.
